Amy Winehouse
Close friends of Winehouse announced in November of 2008 that Winehouse's marriage to Blake Fielder-Civil was over. One of her friends also confirmed that he left her for German model Sophie Schandorff. Schandorff was seen outside of court sobbing following Fielder-Civil's jail sentencing. People Magazine reported on January 9, 2009, that Fielder-Civil had begun divorce proceedings.

Alaska Folk Festival
Guy Davis will be in the spotlight this year as the festivals featured artist. This talented musician, composer, actor, and bluesman from New York is a self taught guitarist that has dedicated himself to reviving the traditions of acoustic blues and introducing them to as many people as possible.http://guydavis.com/guydavis/biography.htm

Several educational workshops will be featured over Saturday and Sunday. These workshops range from using mics and stage gear effectively to clogging.
