George Ryan Conviction Upheld
Ryan's lawyer Jim Thompson has said that he will request a commutation of Ryan's sentence from President George W. Bush. Thompson believes that the loss of title, pension and time served is sufficient punishment for a man who would be almost 80-years-old by the time he'd served his full sentence. Meanwhile, Ryan's former prosecutors maintain that easing the disgraced governors punishment will send the wrong message to the victims of government corruption.Chicago Sun-Times: Ryan's hope (May 28, 2008)

Ralph and Karen Guastaferro
Parents Karen and Ralph Gustaferro were featured on Wife Swap in 2008 with their teenage daughter Alicia. Their 'popular' daughter was heavily involved in beauty pageants and her parents catered to her every whim. Alicia said she feels "sorry for people that are not gorgeous people." The Guastaferros, who own a window-tinting business, gave their daughter, who was too young to drive at the time, a new Chevy Tahoe. In addition, they showered their daughter with gifts on a daily basis because "everyday is Chrismas" for Alicia. On the show, Karen Guastaferro swapped places with Indiana mom and pastor Angie Boss.http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/34021779/ns/entertainment-reality_tv/http://www.nypost.com/p/entertainment/tv/second_wife_swap_pair_faces_legal_NiKB6mvxfsitd6oOT8UEDP

Dennis Kozlowski
Dennis Kozlowski is the former CEO of the manufacturing company, Tyco International. In 2005, Kozloswki was convicted of misappropriating funds and defrauding company shareholders and sentenced to serve time in a state prison.
CNBC put Kozlowski back in the spotlight in March 2008 when it advertised a taped interview with Kozlowski for its show American Greed. CNBC's assertion that the interview would be the first one given since Kozlowski went to prison was false statement, as Kozlowski had been interviewed on 60 Minutes in March of 2007.
