Battle: Los Angeles Game Review
IGN.com critic Kristine Steimer gives Battle: Los Angeles a rating of 5.5 out of 10, claiming that the game is obviously low-budget and has nowhere near the production value of the movie. The Line Gun can dismember a Brute if the gun is properly fired. It can also be useful against Lurkers, by cutting their tentacles and killing them. However, if they are crawl the wall, the player will be unable to hit them because the weapon can only fire a horizontal blast. The first map included in the First Strike DLC is called Berlin Wall. It
is a medium multiplayer map which can be accessed in the PC version of the game
by typing the codename mp_berlinwall. The map features urban terrain and the
action takes place in Berlin, Germany. Multiple auto-turrets can be observed

Discovery is another multiplayer map and just like Berlin Wall, it is an interactive map. It features snowy terrain and the codename for quick access is mp_discovery. The third map in the DLC is called Kowloon, which is a city from Hong Kong. The teams that are fighting on this map are the Black Ops and Soviet Armed Forces. This map features environments that can also be observed while playing the Numbers mission in the campaign mode. While playing on this map, players will be able to use ziplines, however they should be aware that they will be completely exposed and they won’t be able to use any weapons.c

Featuring an urban terrain, Berlin Wall is a medium map which hosts matches between the Black Ops and the Spetsnaz troops. The action takes place in Berlin, Germany and the map is divided in two parts. In the middle of the map players can see a zone marked with red on the radar.
