Final Fantasy XIII Walkthrough - Chapter 9 - Rotary Shaft
1. Watch the cutscene.
2. Save at the Save Station ahead of you.
3. Follow the circular path to the event marker, fighting the Vespid Soldiers, PSICOM Raiders, Thermadons and Vikings along the way.
4. Make your way to the hallway branching out from the top of the outermost circle path and reach the event marker. A cutscene will play.

1. Head down the corridor, fighting the soldiers and other enemies in your way.
2. Take your first right and open the treasure chest for a Lifesaber. Keep following that path, fighting the enemies waiting there for you.
3. Continue following the path to the event marker. Open the treasure chest on the way for an Ember Ring.
4. Save at the Save Station as you pass by.
5. Upgrade as necessary.
6. Continue down the corridor and fighting through enemies.
7. Open the teasure chest just before the event marker for a Pandoran Spear.
8. Approach the event marker.

1. Fight the Kalavinka Striker. Use a Paradigm where Fang is a Saboteur so she can weaken the enemy. Make Hope a Synergist so he can strengthen your party.
2. Make Lightning and Hope Ravagers so that their combined efforts will stagger the boss.
3. Heal your party as needed.
4. Run down Kalavinka Striker's HP and watch the cutscene.
5. Fight the Kalavinka Striker a second time, using the same strategy as before.
6. Watch the cutscene.
7. Read the tutorial on changing your battle team.
8. Save your progress at the Save Station.

2. Cast your Synergist and Saboteur spells to improve your chances.

The story of Final Fantasy VII begins with Cloud and members of AVALANCHE. They were participating in raids against the Mako reactors that surround the city of Midgar. During the raid, one of the reactors explodes and sends Cloud into the city slums. When he awakes, he meets up with Aerith, who was being hunted by Shinra in hopes of finding Mako energy.

Final Fantasy VII Walkthrough - Mideel II
- Go into the clinic and talk to Cloud. Then go outside and watch the cutscene.
Boss: Ultimate Weapon
- There is not a lot you can do in this battle. All you have to do is stay alive.
- Ultimate Weapon has an earth attack that can do heavy damage on everyone.
- It also has a physical attack that targets a single person for at least 700 damage.
- The strongest attack of this boss is the Ultima Beam. It will damage the whole party for about 1700.
- After a few turns, the Ultimate Weapon will fly away.
- Watch the lengthy cutscene that follows. When you have control of Tifa, look at the northern image of Cloud.
- Now go to Nibelheim and watch the cutscene. Then observe the western Cloud image.
- After that, go to the eastern image of Cloud. Then go north and talk to Cloud next to the Nibelheim entrance.
- Watch the cutscene, then talk to Cloud at the center. When you get onto the ship, form your party in the operation room.
- Talk to Cait Sith and then talk to the pilot. Take your ship to Junon.
- Take the elevator and follow the road. Cloud should notice that something is missing.
- Keep going down the road and into the next area. Then head southwest.
- After a few battles, enter the door. Then fight another battle.

1. Upgrade your party members as needed.
2. Save at the Save Station.
3. Head for the event marker on the map. A cutscene will play.
4. Head for the next event marker on the map. Another cutscene will play.
5. Run forward and take a right at the fork in your path to reach the next event marker. Another cutscene will play.
6. Head forward and save at the Save Station all the way at the end of the path.
