Steampunk
The earliest novel featuring Steampunk tropes is usually considered to be the 1968 Keith Roberts novel Pavane. Other early authors include Harry Harrison, Michael Moorcock, and Manly Wade Wellman. The genre took hold in the 1980s with the works of Tim Powers, James Blaylock, and K. W. Jeter. William Gibson and Bruce Sterling, who had done much to establish the Cyberpunk genre, added to Steampunk's popularity with their 1990 novel The Difference Engine.
Steampunk elements can be seen in several motion pictures, such as Young Sherlock Holmes (1985), Wild Wild West (1999), Hellboy (both the 2004 film and the comic book on which it was based), Steamboy (2004), and others. On television, programs like The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr., and Tin Man have a Steampunk sensibility.

Dumbledore Gay Quotes
Now, I really think Ian McKellan should’ve played him.
I wonder where her tolerance was for those readers who have beliefs different from hers. Where was the respect for them? Don't they too have a right to avoid and hide themselves away from ideas and themes they disagree with? I guess not.

We do not have to divide over Rowling’s revelation. There is absolutely nothing in the text itself that communicates anything clear about Dumbledore’s sexuality. Even as we continue to disagree on the subject of homosexuality, we can remain Potter fans together and continue to read the books as we see best.
Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling shocked the world this weekend when she revealed that Albus Dumbledore is gay. It does, however, go to explain the B&B he owns on the Cranberry Islands in Maine with his friend, Bruce.

Deadpool
Deadpool is a character in Marvel Comics. He is a mercenary by trade, and has played both for and against the X-Men. He is most often written around X-Men storylines, due to similar origins as Wolverine (character). Ryan Reynolds plays Deadpool in the 2009 film Origins: Wolverine.
Deadpool is one of the few comic book characters to often talk directly to the audience. His dark humor and pop references round out Deadpool's personality.
