When to Use BCC in Email

Once the "Add BCC" field appears, you can begin entering email addresses. Be sure to separate each address with a comma and a space so that Gmail can distinguish one from another. When you are done, check to make sure all the information you have entered is correct and press "Send" to send the email. The recipients will receive a copy of the email, but will not see any of the other addresses.

How to Forward an Email

When forwarding an e-mail, many people simply hit Forward and send it to all their contacts without any editing. This method includes a large amount of unnecessary text. If you're forwarding an email to share the content, the content is all you need to send.

Remove anything that isn't necessary, including the following:

The original sender and date first sent

The phrase "Sent from my iPhone" (if you are not doing so)

The email addresses of the other people it was sent to

The empty space near the top

Notifications about the lack of viruses in the email

Your online signature

The empty space near the bottom
