Karen Grammer
Karen Grammer was killed in 1975 after being kidnapped outside of a Colorado Springs' Red Lobster, where she worked, at the age of 18. Freddie Glenn was convicted of Grammer's rape and murder. Karen was the sister of Frasier actor Kelsey Grammer.
In July 2009, Glen was up for parole. Kelsey Grammer wrote a letter that was read at the killer's parole hearing. Kelsey wrote, "She was so smart and good and decent. She wrote poetry … We could laugh for hours together. I was supposed to protect her — I could not. It very nearly destroyed me… When we heard this man might be paroled, the suffering began anew." Glenn, who also killed two others in 1975, was denied parole but will be eligible for parole again in 2014.http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/32177126/ns/entertainment-access_hollywood/
