On Sunday, March 21, a chick named "Max" poked its way through its shell in the wooden owl box. The owners, Carlos and Donna Royal celebrated as their newest chick arrived. The Royals had placed the owl box in their back yard two years ago, outfitting the owl sanctuary with live streaming video but waited until January 2010 for a nesting pair. The two owls, named Molly and her mate McGee took residence in the box which rested upon a 15-foot pole. Eggs soon appeared and the Royals, and their steadily growing audience, became fascinated with the natural process.http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/2010/mar/21/thousands-egg-mollys-hatching-owlets-online/

Recycling Baby Clothes
Some families find uses for their baby's old clothes right around the house. These outfits are often small enough to make for nicely-sized rags and dust cloths. You can also save some of the clothes to make outfits for your kid's dolls as they grow into toddlers.http://www.greendaily.com/2008/01/01/5-things-to-do-with-old-baby-clothes/
It is quite popular among parents to make a memory quilt out of their baby's old clothes. Patterns can be cut out of the cloth, or entire outfits can be used in creating such a quilt. In addition to clothes, other items your child has outgrown can be used in a quilt, such as bibs, blankets and hats. You can do this project on your own, or hire a professional to make your quilt for you.http://www.greendaily.com/2008/01/01/5-things-to-do-with-old-baby-clothes/http://www.goosetracks.com/Baby_Memory_Quilt_Order_Form.html

Green Freelancing
Green freelancers are freelancers that care about the environment and look for methods of greening their work. Generally, they work at home (or online) and they have the ability to set their own hours.
Working at home reduces the general carbon footprint because it does not require gas to commute. There are different ways to being a green freelancer; for example, by setting up a website, a green freelancer will not waste paper in marketing their independent business.
