John Conyers Jr.

Chris Smith

Smith maintains an outspoken anti-abortion and anti-stem cell research platform. He spearheaded the Stem Cell Therapeutic and Research Act of 2005, which provided $265 million to research umbilical cord blood and bone marrow cells instead of stem cells. Congressman Christopher Lee Resigns

New York Congressman Christopher Lee resigned on Wednesday, February 9, 2011, amid a scandal involving a shirtless photo he posted on a Craigslist "Women Seeking Men" forum.  The 46-year-old Lee, a two-term Republican, is married.http://www.npr.org/blogs/thetwo-way/2011/02/10/133635861/rep-chris-lee-resigns-after-shirtless-photo-controversy    The shirtless photo of Lee was posted on Gawker, along with an article detailing Lee's flirtatious e-mails to a woman looking for romance on Craigslist.http://gawker.com/#!5755071/married-gop-congressman-sent-sexy-pictures-to-craigslist-babe   

Just hours after the Gawker story was published online, Representative Lee resigned.http://gawker.com/#!5756377/craigslist-congressman-resigns    Lee apologized to his family, staff and constituents, saying he'd made "profound mistakes." Carolyn Kilpatrick

Kilpatrick voted with the Democratic Party 98 percent of time as a member of the 110th Congress and 97 percent throughout her career as a representative.http://projects.washingtonpost.com/congress/members/k000180/ She voted against the first version of the 2008 financial bailout bill, claiming that it did not sufficiently protect those facing home foreclosures.
