Cadillac World Thorium Fuel
The Cadillac World Thorium Fuel is a concept car designed by Loren Kulesus. The car would operate on batteries that would be fueled by Thorium, which is a naturally occurring chemical element that also acts as an alternative nuclear fuel to Uranium. Designed to not need maintenance for 100 years, all the major systems are redundant in case any one of them fails. Also known as WTF, the car comes equipped with 24 wheels; 4 units with 6 wheels built into each and all having their own induction motor. According to Kulesus, the tires would only have to be adjusted once every five years.Autoblog: Not in Detroit: Cadillac World Thorium... (January 13, 2009)
