TCU vs Utah College Football
While both teams entered the 2010 game undefeated, their roads to the game has differed. In the Horned Frogs' season, they began the year by beating the then-24th-ranked Oregon State Beavers 30-21. DeMarco Murray
After redshirting in 2006, Murray played in 11 games with the Oklahoma Sooners before a knee injury sidelined him for several months. LSU vs Arkansas College Football
Just as the LSU Tigers entered the game with the slight edge in the polls, they also had the better record, going 10-1 on the season including 6-1 in SEC games. Their season began with seven-consecutive wins, defeating North Carolina, Vanderbilt, Mississippi State, West Virginia, Tennessee, Florida and McNeese State. Their single loss came against the Auburn Tigers on October 23, 2010, with a score of 24-17. Similar to the LSU Tigers, the Arkansas Razorbacks also fell to Auburn en route to their 9-2 record entering the game, including going 5-2 in conference play. Von Miller
As a freshman in 2007, Miller played in eight games with the Aggies, recording 22 tackles, four tackles for a loss, two sacks and one forced fumble. He also joined the team in the postseason as they played in the Alamo Bowl against the Penn State Nittany Lions and earned honors as a member of the Freshman All-Big 12 team. His sophomore season was also productive, playing in all 12 games with Texas A&M. Miller continued his success with Texas A&M in 2009, leading the NCAA in sacks plus adding 48 tackles. He was named to the first team All-American, the first Aggie to receive the honor since 1999. Brady Hoke
After college, Hoke began coaching on the high school level by serving as an offensive line and linebackers coach at Yorktown High School. Hoke went on to serve as an assistant coach for several schools in the 1980s including at Grand Valley State University, Western Michigan University and the University of Toledo. A move in 1995 took Hoke to the University of Michigan where he was the defensive linemen coach, defensive ends coach and later the associate head coach. With the Wolverines, Hoke helped the team win the National Championship in 1997. Tyrod Taylor
Initially sharing snaps with fellow quarterback Sean Glennon, Tyrod Taylor played in 11 games with the Virginia Tech Hokies as a freshman. He saw the starting nod in five games, totaling 927 passing yards and five touchdowns on the season. Taylor also saw success as a rusher, adding six touchdowns and 429 yards. After earning the starting position on the team early in his sophomore season in 2008, Taylor combined for 1,774 yards on the season, with nine touchdowns and seven interceptions. Continuing as a starter for his junior campaign in 2009, Taylor recorded his statistically best season thus far that year. Starting and playing in 13 games, Taylor passed for 2,311 yards, completing 136 of 243 passes to score 13 touchdowns. He also added 370 rushing yards for five additional scores. Mike Haywood

In 1995, Haywood was hired by the LSU Tigers and worked as a running backs coach and special teams coordinator until 2002. In 2003 and 2004, Haywood served with the Texas Longhorns by working with the running backs, special teams and on recruiting.
