Biblical Prophecy
Some evangelical forms of Christianity that are practiced in the United States and other parts of the world believe that world events as they are being shaped today reflect the prophecies that are given in the Bible. In the past, there are been many followings of religious leaders that have claimed to have foretold specific dates for the return of Christ and Armageddon, such as the Millerites in the 19th century and the year 2000 predictions. http://www.google.co.cr/url?sa=t&source=web&ct=res&cd=1&ved=0CAYQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.abac.edu%2Fsocial%2Fawright%2FSOSC1100%2FPPT%2FThe%2520Millerites.ppt&ei=jzeNS6vJCZr4tAO6hOHaAw&usg=AFQjCNHTKONEWdXMUivICyD61GBr_VfadQ&sig2=o903l1QlFqa9IuUWYo2IBg In contemporary culture, many conferences have been held to explain "the signs" contained within the book of Revelation and their relevance to current political and world events. Belief and rigid adherence to specific human and political interpretations of prophecy and meanings of Biblical scripture characterize some evangelical groups. http://www2.luthersem.edu/ctrf/Papers/2008_Fitch.htm

jehovahs witness
The Jehovah's Witnesses believe that they are the only true Christian Faith and that the Pastors of the other faiths are antichrists teaching false information about Jesus’ teachings. They teach that god is only one being and not a Trinity composed of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. http://www.bible.ca/jw-history.htm The Witnesses teach that there is only one path to reach salvation and that all other faiths and religions, including all other Christian teachings are wrong and the only way is the one they pursue. http://www.watchtower.org/e/bh/article_15.htm

- Noah - Faithful servant whom God tasked to build an Ark. He and his family along with a representative portion of all animals were preserved through a worldwide flood. Afterwards God formed a covenant with Noah not to destroy the world again with water.
- Abraham (Abram) – Described as a “friend of God”. Also formed a covenant with God. God promised a great nation would come through Abraham and all other nations would be blessed through it. Moved to an unfamiliar place in obedience to God.

How to Fundraise for Mission Trips
Another common fundraiser idea is what is called a "one-off" fundraiser. This is a single event such as a bake sale, barbecue or other food-related activity. Other one-off activities are cycling or running races, bingo and bowling. People donate money for miles walked or number of pins knocked down.http://www.simple-fundraising-ideas.com/fundraising-for-mission-trips.html
