Canadian Coupons

Coupon policies will vary based upon the origin and type of coupon. Most coupons have terms and conditions that must be met in order to redeem the coupon such as present within the expiration date, minimum or limited quantity purchases, required purchases or other exclusions.

Whether found online, through local advertising or in coupon mailers, Canadian coupons will have specific instructions that must be followed so that they are valid at the time of purchase. Coupons that are for admission to events may have specific dates where the coupon is valid. Those presented for services may have exclusions or other requirements. Be sure to carefully read these conditions before presenting to the merchant or retailer.

Juno Awards

RPM Magazine originally polled readers starting in 1964 to name the best musicians in Canada. The magazine dubbed the results the RPM Gold Leaf Awards.

A ceremony was held each year starting in 1970, called the Gold Leaf Awards, which were then renamed the Juno Awards in 1971 and broadcast on CBC Television starting in 1975.

By 1977 the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) was formed to manage voting and the awards ceremony.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juno_Award
