2009-10 Season

Luke Babbitt

After winning the state championship in high school in 2007, Babbitt initially committed to play college basketball with the Ohio State Buckeyes men's basketball team. He later changed his mind and joined the Nevada Wolf Pack for his freshman season in 2008-09. His performance improved in the 2009-10 season with the Wolf Pack, nearly reaching 22 points per game and nine rebounds per game. Brook Lopez

2009-10 Season

Patrick Patterson

After helping Huntington High School in West Virginia win three-consecutive state championships, Davis joined the Kentucky Wildcats for his rookie season in 2007. As a freshman, Davis played in 25 games, scoring 411 points, totaling 192 rebounds and adding 31 blocks. Davis broke out in the 2008-09 season, averaging a career-best 17.9 points per game and 9.3 rebounds per game. He earned All-SEC honors that year and initially planned to leave school early to declare eligible for the NBA Draft. In his final season with the Wildcats, Davis appeared in 38 games while helping the team start the season with a perfect 19-0 record. Al-Farouq Aminu

Prior to joining the Demon Deacons, Aminu was arrested in March of 2008 on charges of aggravated assault and trespassing. Aminu was accused on shooting a woman using a BB gun in the Atlanta, Georgia, area. Matt Bouldin

In the 2008/2009 Season playing for the Gonzaga Bulldogs Basketball team he had season averages of 13.6 points scored per game, 4.1 rebounds per game, 3.4 assists per game, and a .491 Field Goal Percentage. He got a carreer-high of 8 rebounds in one game versus Oklahoma State. On February 12th, 2009 he became the 31st player in the history of the Gonzaga Bulldogs Basketball team to score 1,000 points. He scored his 1,000th point in the first half of the game at Saint Mary's. For the second straight year in a row he was named All-West Coast Conference First Team. Matt Bouldin was also a National Association of Basketball Coaches District 9 first-team pick.

Damion James

In the 2008/2009 Season playing for the Texas Longhorns Basketball team Damion James had season averages of 15.4 points scored per game, 9.2 rebounds per game, 1.3 assists, and a .468 Field Goal Percentage. He started all 35 games with the Texas Longhorns Basketball team, and gained a position on the All-Big 12 Conference Second Team. He was a first-team Academic All-Big 12 in 2008-09. James entered in the 2009 NBA Draft on April 15, 2009 without hiring an agent keeping his NCAA eligibility. He later pulled his name from the draft when he was not guaranteed a first-round draft position. He retained his spot with the Texas Longhorns Basketball team to be a leading scorer in the 2009/2010 Season.
