Topicle is a search engine, founded by former Google employee Steffen Muller. The site creates search engine results from handpicked URLs. Users create vertical specific search engines which are open to being edited. Anyone can contribute by adding URLs and rating existing URLs.

A former product manager at Google, Steffen Mueller has started a search engine, similar to Mahalo, in which search results are verified by humans rather than an machines. Each search result page is comprised of user-submitted URLs. In other words, searches results are filtered through URLs that are approved by users, so as to only get links to reputable sites. -
