Claiming that the story was false and defamatory, Parker sued X17 for over $20 million. In November 2010, rumors began to surface that Parker's marriage with Longoria was again in trouble. William Anthony Parker was born in Burges, Belgium, on May 17, 1982. Parker's father, an American, also played basketball. His mother resides in Paris, though she is originally from Amsterdam. He played professional basketball in France with the Paris Basket Racing basketball club. Parker was selected in the 2001 NBA draft by the San Antonio Spurs with the 28th pick. He started his career as a solid back-up to point guard Antonio Daniels. After adjusting to the NBA style of play, he led the San Antonio Spurs as the starting point guard to an NBA Championship in 2003.
