The Tony 2009 nominations were announced by Cynthia Nixon and Lin-Manuel Miranda on May 5, 2009. The awards celebrate Broadway productions, actors, directors and craft. The actual awarding of the statues takes place on June 7, 2009 at Radio City Music Hall and will be broadcast on CBS.
