  • Tony Kornheiser is a television personality who provides sports coverage, mostly for the National Football League, on ESPN.

    He was a co-host of Monday Night Football from 2006 to 2009, when he stepped down, citing his fear of flying. Kornheiser was replaced by former Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Jon Gruden on May 18, 2009.

    Kornheiser can now be heard Monday thru Friday 10 AM to noon EST on ESPN 980 or as a podcast.

    Kornheiser is a co-host for ESPN's Pardon the Interruption alongside Michael Wilbon. He also previously co-hosted Monday Night Football alongside Mike Tirico and Ron Jaworski and wrote a column for the The Washington Post. Before becoming an on-air personality at ESPN, Kornheiser hosted The Tony Kornheiser Show on ESPN Radio.
