Tony Hawk started Birdhouse Skateboards in 1994 to produce various skateboards and other products. He also created his own production company known as 900 Films. Hawk's clothing line, Hawk Clothing, sells apparel and shoes at Kohl's department stores.In 1999 Activision released the first in the series of Tony Hawk video games, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. The original game's popularity led to numerous sequels which appeared on several gaming platforms such as the PlayStation and Xbox.
