Career
After playing basketball in college, both at Tennessee Tech and LaSalle, he played in West Germany, where he also served as a coach. DiLeo coached both men and women in Germany, winning nine national titles. He was honored as the West German coach of the year in 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984 and 1985, as well as the German coach of the year in 1987.NBA.com: Tony DiLeo
