  • College Career

    Prior to playing in the NBA, Allen played college basketball first at Wabash Valley College in Illinois, then with the Oklahoma State Cowboys. He helped the team reach the Final Four in 2004, earning the Big 12 Player of the Year award and becoming the first player at Oklahoma State to break the 1,000-point barrier in two seasons.NBA.com: Tony Allen
  • NBA Career

    After college, Allen was selected 25th overall in the 2004 NBA draft by the Boston Celtics. He made his professional debut that same year, playing in 77 games and averaging 6.4 points and 2.9 rebounds per game with a field-goal percentage of .475.   • Legal Trouble

    In 2007, Allen was found not guilty of assault charges stemming from a 2005 shooting outside a Chicago restaurant. Allen was not named the suspect in the shooting, however another man claimed Allen broke his eye socket.
