Finnish professional hockey player Toni Lydman plays for the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League.
NHL Career
Lydman was drafted 89th overall in the 1996 NHL Draft by the Calgary Flames. He continued to play in Finland for four seasons after the draft in the SM-Liiga. Lydman joined the Flames for his NHL debut in 2000. He returned to the SM-Liiga during the 2004-05 NHL Lockout. Following the lockout, Lydman was traded to the Buffalo Sabres on August 25, 2005.
