Quotes
"He was outstanding at Myrtle Beach from day one there. When we got him to Mississippi, after a short period of time, he threw the no-hitter and continued to pitch well there. As he moved to the AFL, he continued to make another jump in terms of the consistency of his stuff. From High-A to Double-A, from Double-A to an All-Star Double-A league like the AFL, he was able to match and raise his game at each of these levels. That is quite an accomplishment" - Braves Farm Director Kurt Kemp
"If I would have been traded, it would have been fine, but I want to stay with the Braves. I'm glad they didn't want to trade me. I spoke to some people that told me that was the plan, so it makes me feel good. I'm happy with it being the way it is and staying with the Braves." - Tommy Hanson
"I'm definitely happy with how my first year in the big leagues went. But I'm to the point where that's in the past now. I stopped thinking about that a long time ago. I'm looking forward to this season, because I know I have to make some adjustments. The biggest thing right now is working on my changeup as much as possible to get comfortable with it." - Tommy Hansonhttp://atlanta.braves.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20100126&content_id=7970032&vkey=news_atl&fext=.jsp&c_id=atl
"I've had enough time away from it. I'm ready to go. My arm's never felt better. And I feel really good about the team. I think everything that was done [this offseason] is going to help the team out." - Tommy Hansonhttp://www.ajc.com/sports/atlanta-braves/braves-hanson-rested-excited-287113.html?cxtype=rss_news_128746
