During an October 2009 taping of ABC News' Nightline, Davis walked out of an interview with Martin Bashir. When Bashir asked Davis if he believed in the intergalactic emperor Xenu, Davis said he was not going to discuss "things that are so fundamentally offensive to Scientologists."
