Nude Raider
Frequently, unlockables in Tomb Raider games have been different outfits for Lara Croft. Her physique has gotten the game series much attention over the years, but the most controversial was tied to an unofficial patch titled Nude Raider. The patch, when installed with PC versions of the game, would make Lara appear naked. The patches were originally hosted on the website, nuderaider.com.Out of a desire to protect their intellectual property and keep control over how Lara Croft is portrayed, Eidos sent cease and desist letters to the website's owners and anyone else who posted nude images of Lara online. Eidos eventually won ownership of the nuderaider.com domain name to prevent anyone else from besmirching Lara's image.
