The Midgard Serpent

- Get on the bike and follow the corridor to the next area. Jump two ramps and stop. Get the health pack here. TREASURE #29: In a pot next to an impaled skull before the first jump.
- Climb on the flag pole, then wall jump left to right to the one above. Jump to the ledge to the right to lower it and create a ramp. Giant spiders will attack; they are fairly dangerous and the shotgun, tranquilizer gun, and Adrenaline Headshots are all very recommended. If there is one by itself, you can simply lock onto it and use melee attacks until it dies.
- Once they are dead, jump the gap with the bike and drive on to a cutscene (don't forget the Speed Burst technique: hit the accelerate and brakes at the same time until the bike begins screeching, then release the brake). Look for two health packs on the way (on the foot of the stairs, and next to two skulls impaled on a spike).
- After the cutscene, move close enough to the two giant spiders to target them and take them out with a grenade. Then explore the perimeter of the room to find three health packs. TREASURE #30: In a pot to the right of the room's entrance, near a health pack. TREASURE #31: Right next to the entrance door are some grips that lead upwards. Follow them to a small niche directly above the entrance door with the treasure inside.
- Look for a scepter in front of one of the kingly statues and use it on that statue; there is another scepter on top of the steps, grab it and use it on another statue with no scepter. After the cutscene, go to each of the four statues who's scepters have lowered and rotate them with the Y button until they each open a door.
- Beware of spiders spawning often in this room as you progress. From Treasure #29, follow the wall away from the entrance to a niche you can chimney jump up to a ledge. Face directly the wall opposite the ledge and start your jumps. From the ledge, reach a path of footholds that end into a leap to a pillar. TREASURE #32: Jump from the column to the treasure on top of a massive collapsed stone face. Do NOT jump from the top of the column or you will overshoot.
- From your column, climb it to the top and jump towards the column holding the skeletons. Make your way across the group of columns to the pillar with a ledge. Use the nearby poles to cross (for the gap in the poles, simply cross them by moving along them both from a hanging position). Look for a beam to jump to next afterward, then to the open door. Go inside.
- Do not sprint or roll past the spearheads, just run past when they retract. Whenever slow mode suddenly occurs, hold B button immediately or you are dead. Once you clear all the traps, grab the tablet on the pedestal, then look for a grip to the left in the crumbling wall. Use the grips to reach the stopped blades and skip across them like normal balance beams, using them to reach the exit. TREASURE #33: From the final blade, instead of jumping down, jump towards the niche right in front of you first to get this treasure.
- Before dropping down to the main area again, shoot the giant spider and its kin. Then head to the staircase facing one of the turned kingly statues and enter a new area. Simply sprint past the crushers, and grab the tablet. Turn around and grapple-yank a block with a grapple point down. Drag it as far as you can, then use it to chimney jump up the closest crushers and reach the exit. TREASURE #34: In the niche where the grapple point block was positioned.
- From the entrance of the crusher room, run down the stairs and to the right up some small steps. Rappel up using a grapple point and get the health pack. Slide down the nearby ramp and jump onto the ledge with another tablet room entrance. TREASURE #35: In a pot right in front of the entrance to the next tablet room.
- Simply turn on the utility light, crawl under the rubble, grab the tablet, climb over the rubble and leave. Watch for the spider. TREASURE #36: Right next to you after crawling under the rubble. TREASURE #37: In a pot next to the tablet. TREASURE #38: Climb on top of the rubble and make a leap towards the niche it is in.
- Return to the entrance of the crusher room and from the foot of the stairs jump to the balance beam, then to a ledge, and from there to a column. Jump from the column to some footholds, then to two poles. Perch on the last pole and jump to a ledge, then jump back towards an off-screen column. From the column to a pillar, across some poles to another pillar, then finally to a balance beam and the entrance to the final tablet room. TREASURE #39: In a pot right next to the entrance to the last tablet room. TREASURE #40: Also in a pot right next to the entrance.
- Jump on the first flag pole you can reach, avoiding the timed flames. Jump to the second flag pole when the flaming jet underneath both your flag pole and the target pole have stopped. Once you land on the pole, drop down and wait for the flame to start up and subside, then quickly climb up the pole to one above it. Jump to the next pole when the topmost flames have paused, then vault to the tablet. Grab it. TREASURE #41: In a pot right by the entrance.
- Use the flag pole on the left to make your way back exactly the way you came and take the exit. TREASURE #42: Jump on the pole closest to the exit, then to the niche that has the treasure.
- Go back to the main room. Press Y on each indentation on the center dais to use your tablets. Then face each of the turned kingly statues and press Y to push them towards the dais. After they are all in place, park the bike on top of the pressurized plate and stand on the other. Enter the now-revealed secret passage with the bike.
- Follow the secret tunnel down until you reach a dead-end containing a jaguar head. Pick it up. Then crawl through the hole in the rubble and walk forward to trigger a cutscene. TREASURE #43, #44. You should find these in pots along the tunnel path before reaching the jaguar head. TREASURE #45: To the left after crawling through the hole past the jaguar head. TREASURE #46: To your left after the cutscene that foreshadows the new area.
- Move forward for another cutscene. Shotgun/melee kick any Thralls that leap out of the pool, then keep hitting Y while they are down until they are destroyed. Note that Lara has some invulnerability while middle of killing one with the Y button. Run around the pool to the serpent- headed spout and leap onto the "flag pole" sticking out of it.
- Return to the main entrance and look for some grips nearby to climb down. Drop down three times, make sure to safety grab when need be. When you hear the crumbling noises, quickly shimmy right as fast as you can until Lara is stopped, then jump right and continue shimmying right while tapping Y. When stopped, jump to the right again to the checkpoint. If you are not fast enough, the grips will collapse and get you killed.
- Climb the balance beams here. This time, you must walk across the long one quickly before it too collapses. To speed things up, Lara can sprint or cartwheel along a balance beam (press the left bumper or B button) Make your way to the other side, and kill some Thralls.
- From where the Thralls spawned, jump to the ledge then chimney jump up. Jump to the beams and drop down to the other side. Grab the health pack, then use the grappling point to swing over the blue muck. On the other side, grapple-yank another point on the Thor statue's shield until it stops moving. Jump straight at it; it has a grip. Shimmy to the left then jump back towards another grip, and then to safety. Get the second health pack. TREASURE #47: Right next to the second health pack.
- Leap onto the slab near the second spout, then climb up to a grip. Leap from the grip to the rod in the serpent head's snout to stop the flow. Climb down using the grips underneath the spout. Grapple on the screw in the center and yank it as you move counter-clockwise (with the Thor statue as 12'o clock) around it. It should screw into the ground, stopping the flow for good and allowing access to a chamber inside the Thor statue. TREASURE #48: Facing "Thor", look towards the haphazard pillar in the corner on the left. Jump to it to get it.
- Look for one of the pillars here to have a grip (a health pack is placed on it). Jump from the pillar to Thor's belt and grab the item inside.
The Land of the Dead

- With the power to move objects with a blue sigil regained, make your way down to the area with the screw, and shove the blue pillar nearby into position inside a divot. Stand under the ring for the spout you previously shut and use it to scale your way back up. RELIC #5, STEP 1: Turn the screw back into the ground, so that "Thor" tucks his hammer close to his head.
- Walk past the serpent-headed spout to see some grips in the way. Jump to them and make your way to the right to the beams that had collapsed earlier. Despite some of them collapsing, the beams can still be crossed, so do so. On the other side, you will be able to jump to the top of the blue pillar. Jump from the blue pillar to the other pillar near by, then swing using the grapple above to the very same grips you used to initially climb into the pool area. RELIC #5, STEP 2: Before swinging to the exit, leap to Thor's hammer. It's now close enough to his head for you to walk over to his left eye and take the relic.
- Now that you are safely out, exit the room and return to the bike. TREASURE #49, #50: Before leaving, look for a block to the left of the exit. You can now move it with the sigil power; two treasures are underneath.
- The goal now is to drive all the way back to where Lara first came underground. Use the sigil power to move aside a stone column blocking the way in the long tunnel. In the room with the kingly statues, you will need to battle through some giant spiders to get to the exit.
- At the log ramp jumps, one of them will be down and need to be activated (the one after the first two log ramps). To do so, climb on a flag pole in front of the missing ramp, then up to another, then across to another, then to a ledge.
- Back where Lara first entered the underground, there is a switch. Stand next to the jaguar with the missing head and press Y, then throw the switch. Back the bike up as far as possible, then drive out. The level will end and you will get the Southern Mexico Expedition achievement.
Gate of the Dead

- After the level intro, look for a health pack right behind you before driving down the tunnel. Move the blue sigil door open. At the next cutscene, look for a second health pack among some pots on a rock outcropping. TREASURE #1: Next to the second health pack.
- Drive down to the bottom, ignoring any Thralls that appear, to trigger a cutscene. Drive on the walls to avoid any big gaps. Near the ramp at the end is a health pack. Kill the Thralls with the shotgun. TREASURE #2: In a pot underneath the ramp. TREASURE #3: To left of the giant door, along the wall. ACHIEVEMENT: "Speed Demon II": From the moment the cutscene starts, get on the bike and drive down the spiral ramps to the cutscene in 50 seconds. If you are killed during the drive down, you may restart from the checkpoint without having to reload.
- Pick up the strange gray blocks on the ground and use them on the indentations in the giant tower in the center. Once they are all set, grab the sigil at the base and turn it until a cutscene occurs, then let go. Then use any grip you choose on the base of the tower and make your way upwards along the rotating perches and grips. There is a health pack at the checkpoint.
- At the checkpoint, find a sigil to move and rotate it until you get a cutscene. Let go after the cutscene and again, follow the network of perches and grips to the next checkpoint. TREASURE #4: In a pot at the next checkpoint.
- Do the same for the next sigil at the checkpoint, then make your way upwards. This time, watch for steam vents that will injure Lara and weaken her grip. At the next checkpoint, get the health pack and again move the sigil into place. Now the gate can be opened. TREASURE #5:In a pot at the next checkpoint. TREASURE #6: Lying on the ground, also at the next checkpoint.
