There are two types of hidden treasure in Tomb Raider Underworld: Gold relics, and standard treasure. Collecting these treasures is not necessary to complete the game, but there are achievements for finding the treasure. Finding relics can also give the player a permanent health boost.

Treasure Hunt Mode
Unlike previous Tomb Raider games, Tomb Raider Underworld features a special Treasure Hunt Mode that allows players to revisit levels they've already completed to look for any treasure they may have missed.
