Beneath the Ashes is a downloadable episode for Tomb Raider Underworld that is available exclusively on the Xbox 360. Beneath the Ashes follows Lara Croft as she explores the ruins underneath her mansion in search of an artifact that belonged to her father. It will be available on February 24, 2009 and will cost $10. About the DLC
Beneath the Ashes is a brand-new episode that adds to Tomb Raider Underworld. In Beneath the Ashes, Lara Croft explores a mysterious set caverns and crypts that contain an ancient artifact with immense power. The DLC will contain six new costumes for Lara and also has a new set of achievements that total up to an additional 125 points.Tomb Raider Underworld is the latest entry in the Tomb Raider series, and finds Lara Croft travelling around the world in search of proof of the Norse underworld and the Hammer of Thor. The game features a new grappling ability, combat system and multiple vehicle action sequences.
The release of the game also saw the crowning of a new "real-life" Lara Croft, Alison Carroll, a professional gymnast who is currently modeling as Lara in her Underworld incarnation, with her new shorts and halter top. Carroll, 23, has worked as a youth gymnastics coach and as a receptionist.
