Tom Sizemore

American actor Tom Sizemore's first major movie role was in Oliver Stone's 1989 Vietnam War film, Born on the Fourth of July. Throughout the 1990s, Sizemore appeared in many supporting roles, often portraying "tough guy" characters such as those in Reservoir Dogs, True Romance and Natural Born Killers.

Sizemore was arrested on May 28, 2009, on an outstanding warrant for narcotics after police responded to a report of gunshots fired in Hollywood Hills, California. He was held on $25,000 bail.Reuters: Tom Sizemore arrested on drug warrant (May 28, 2009)

Sizemore is being investigated in March of 2009 after allegedly stealing several cell phones along with a pen and a highlighter from a Verizon Wireless store in Los Angeles. The thief, believed to be Sizemore, was caught by the store's security cameras.TMZ: Sizemore Investigated for Phone, Highlighter Heist (March 19, 2009) The actor's past includes several run-ins with the law including charges for assault and battery and drugs.

Sizemore has had several run ins with the law, including a 2003 arrest for assault on former girlfriend and Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss.

Tom credits Robert De Niro with turning his life around. According to a 2001 Sizemore interview, De Niro showed up at Sizemore's doorstep with his mother and told him they were there to drive him to jail or rehab. He chose rehab, but was caught by the police with methamphetamine while still on probation for previous drug related charges in 2007.
