  • Tom Osborne is former football coach for the University of Nebraska Cornhuskers and a former United States congressman. He currently works as the athletic director for the University of Nebraska.
  • Brief Biography

    Getting his first head coaching opportunity in 1973, tom Osborne went 9-2 in his first season as coach of the cornhuskers. He went on to be the head coach for the next 24 years, before retiring in 1997. In his time at Nebraska, Osborne won three national championships, in 1994, 1995 and 1997.
