Brief Biography
Tom Landry attended the University of Texas in Austin. He then enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Force. Landry's first NFL coaching job came as the defensive coordinator for the New York Giants, coaching alongsideVince Lombardi who was the offensive coordinator. In 1960, Landry attained the head coaching job in Dallas. He went on to coach the team for the next 29 years. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1990 with a total of 250 career wins.
