Tom Heinsohn is a hall of fame professional basketball player who spent his entire playing career with the Boston Celtics. He is also a former Celtics' head coach and a basketball commentator.

Pro Career
Heinsohn was drafted by the Boston Celtics in 1956 NBA Draft as a territorial pick. He spent his entire 9 year playing career with the Celtics squad who won eight NBA titles in nine years. He was also an NBA All-Star for six times.NBA.com: Tom Heinsohn Bio
Post-Playing Career
After retiring in the NBA, he became a TV basketball commentator for three season becoming head coach of the Boston Celtics from 1969 to 1978 and earned the NBA Coach of the Year in the 1972-73 season.
