Tom Cable

Professional football coach Tom Cable serves as the head coach of the Oakland Raiders in the National Football League.

After taking over as interim coach for Lane Kiffin in September of 2008, Cable was named the permanent head coach of the Oakland Raiders on February 3, 2009.ESPN.com: Raiders Retain Cable as Head Coach

Cable was previously the Raiders' offensive line coach before head coach Lane Kiffin was fired on September 30, 2008. He finished the 2008 season with the team, finishing with a 4-8 record.
