Belgian cyclist Tom Boonen races for the Quick Step racing team and has won several competitions, including the Elite Men's Road Race at the World Cycling Championship in 2005.
On June 18, 2009, Boonen was reportedly banned from competing in the Tour de France after testing positive for cocaine. He previously tested positive for cocaine several times before.

Positive Drug Tests
Boonen first tested positive for cocaine in November of 2007. A second positive test was taken on May 26, 2008. Despite no official policy on cocaine, as it is not a performance-enhancing drug, he was suspended from competing in the Tour of Switzerland and the Tour de France.The most recent trouble came in April of 2009, when trace amounts of cocaine showed in his system.
