Tom Biscardi is a well-known, or more aptly put, infamous Bigfoot enthusiast, whose documentary, Bigfoot Lives, provided grainy images of the elusive beast supposedly walking through the woods in California. Biscardi, who owns SearchingforBigfoot.com, was recently involved in a hoax where he allegedly paid a reported $50,000 to Matthew Whitton and Rick Dyer, two men who claimed to have found the body of Bigfoot. After procuring the supposed body, it was discovered that 'Bigfoot' was actually a monkey costume that had been deep frozen. Biscardi claims he wants to take legal action against the men, but can't find them. The two are freely talking to the media in Georgia and reporters have no trouble finding them.eFluxMedia: The Two Bigfoot Pranksters Are Very Likely To End Up In Court
Bigfoot
Bigfoot, also known as a Sasquatch, is believed by many to roam forests and swampy areas in various parts of the world. The massive beast is said to be over seven feet tall and weight nearly 400 pounds. Alleged U.S. sightings have occurred mostly in the Pacific Northwest, but some sightings have been reported in Wisconsin and Georgia. Largely described through folktales, Bigfoot is an elusive and mysterious animal whose existence has never been verified.Seattle Post Intelligencer: Bigfoot exists?
