  • Early History

    The four members of Tokyo Police Club were previously part of another band and reformed in the summer of 2005. On the verge of splitting up again, they played the Pop Montreal festival and were signed to Paper Bag Records. They released a short (22 minutes in full) EP A Lesson in Crime which gained international attention.
