Todd Wright is a musician from VA, who has been in the industry since he was 18 years old. He started out as the drummer for the hair metal band Fraidy Cat and went on to become a songwriter, producer, and solo artist. Todd is currently working on his 40x40 project where he writes, records, and releases one new song a week for free, asking only for donations to help the American Diabetes Association find a cure for Juvenile diabetes.

Life and Career
In 1988, at age 18, Todd began his musical career as the drummer for the Hair Metal band Fraidy Cat. In 1991, Todd left Fraidy Cat to form The Excentrics, who released three albums during the band's lifetime, including their national release, "Perfect Nervous Breakdown" in 1999 http://www.answers.com/topic/excentrics. Todd then formed Getaway Car in 2002 with the intention of taking this band national and beyond. They released "All Your Little Pieces" and were on their way to fame before Todd left Getaway Car in 2003 to become the guitarist for Lucy Woodward until 2004, when he became the keyboardist/guitarist for the Pat McGee Band.
Near the end of 2006, Todd left his touring career behind to become a full-time songwriter for bands such as The Click Five | Pat McGee | Better Than Ezra | Chelsea Lee and others. www.myspace.com/orangepopsongs

Todd is a lover of the Dachshund breed of dog and currently owns two: Bruno and Elvis.

Beginning September 30, 2009 all the way through to July 7, 2010, Todd will be writing, recording, and releasing a new song every Wednesday for free from his website at www.orangepopsongs.comwww.orangepopsongs.com
Although these songs are being released for free, Todd is asking for donations to help support the American Diabetes Association and help find a cure for Juvenile Diabetes. Donations can be given directly from his site or at any of his shows at Jammin Java in Vienna, VA. Todd has also announced that any proceeds from his shows will also be given to the American Diabetes Association.
