Heavily-inked tattoo artist Todd Smithson owns Nothing Sacred tattoo parlor in San Diego, California with wife Carly Smithson, a contestant on season 7 of Fox's American Idol.
The couple met when Carly Smithson picked Todd Smithson up at the airport as a favor for a mutual friend. They married in 2004 during a private ceremony and, instead of wedding rings, they each have a tattoo of a ring on their left ring finger.
