  • Career Highlights

    Marchant played several years of junior hockey in the United States, then was drafted 164th overall in the 1993 NHL Draft by the New York Rangers. He made his NHL debut playing one game with the Rangers, then was traded to the Edmonton Oilers. He split the remainder of the 1993-94 regular season between the Oilers and their American Hockey League affiliate. Marchant continued with the Oilers until 2003, then he signed as a free agent with the Columbus Blue Jackets. After two seasons in Columbus, he was waived, then picked up by the Anaheim Ducks in 2005. Marchant was a key player in the Ducks 2007 Stanley Cup Championship.
