    Following his college career at Saginaw Valley State University, Herremans was drafted 126th overall in the 2005 NFL draft by the Philadelphia Eagles. He made his NFL debut that same year, starting his first game on November 10, 2005, against the Green Bay Packers. He played four games his rookie season, then joined the Eagles for all 16 games in 2006.
