British food critic Toby Young replaces Queer Eye-expert Ted Allen as a judge on the "Top Chef" series.
Young is the author of the novel How to Lose Friends & Alienate People, which was made into a film in 2008. The movie stars Simon Pegg and Kirsten Dunst.

Career Highlights
Journalist Toby Young wrote the memoir How to Lose Friends & Alienate People about his editorial position at Vanity Fair magazine. His sights then turned toward penning screenplays, which he writes about in the novel The Sound of No Hands Clapping. After holding various jobs in the U.S., Young returned to England and took an editorial position with The Spectator. He appeared in a stage production of How To Lose Friends & Alienate People and was a food critic for the BBC show Eating with the Enemy. -
