TNA iMPACT Game

Based on Total Nonstop Action Wrestling's television show, TNA iMPACT! is a wrestling game developed by Midway Studios for the Xbox 360, PS2, PS3 and Nintendo Wii consoles. Wrestlers from the professional promotion have been involved with the game's creation, taking part in gameplay idea brainstorming sessions with the Midway development team and participating in motion capture film sessions.TNA Wrestling: New Footage Of The TNA Video Game (October 12, 2007)

Engage in battle with other players or computer- controlled opponents, each fighting to win the match. Multiple move combinations are available to assist you in dominating those opponents. While fighting, an Impact! meter appears on the screen and continues to fill as moves are used to conquer your opponent(s). Once the meter is filled, special finishing moves are enabled to cause major damage to your enemies. If a player is pinned to the floor, a mini-game decides if the player is released or will remain pinned.

The game currently offers an online multi-player mode for one-on-one wrestling matches. Due to hardware limitations, the Wii and PS2 versions will not have this feature available.

The game also contains a unique Create-A-Wrestler mode in which players use a variety of pieces to create a custom wrestler for both single and multi-player modes.
