They are known to take in overstock items from department stores and other retail outlets, and sell them at a reduced cost. There are TJ Maxx locations around the country, and a website where you can shop online. Occasionally you'll find TJ Maxx Stores co-located with the company's HomeGoods stores.

If you apply for and receive a TJX Credit Card, you will be eligible to save 10% off your first purchase. The card entails you to earn rewards points that can be redeemed for future savings.

1. You earn 5 Rewards Points for every $1 you spend at any TJX store, which includes T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods or AJWright
2. You earn 1 Reward Point for purchases elsewhere, if you have opted for the TJX Mastercard.
