Directors Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson are teaming up to adapt Herge's poplar comic series The Adventures of Tintin into a series of films. The Adventures of Tintin

The Adventures of Tintin follow the Tintin, a young Belgian reporter and traveler, and his faithful dog Snowy on their adventures around the world. In every adventure Tintin, while busy investigating a story, finds himself involved in dangerous cases which force him to take heroic action to save the day.

Main Characters

  • Tintin: A young Belgian reporter and traveler. The series protagonist.
  • Snowy: A white Fox Terrier and Tintin's faithful, four-legged companion.
  • Captain Haddock: Tintin's best friend, a seafaring captain of disputed ancestry
  • Thomson and Thompson: Two comical detectives who look alike and only told apart by their different mustaches
