  • In an interview with Vanity Fair for their January, 2009 issue, Tina Fey and husband Jeff Richmond explained the origin of the faint scar on the actress and comedian's left cheek. Richmond states that, when Fey was 5 years old, a man walked into her yard and randomly cut her face. Fey apparently thought that the man had simply written on her cheek with a pen before walking away.
