Tim Roth is a British actor and director best known for his roles in the Quentin Tarantino films Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs. Since then he has appeared as Emile Blonsky, The Abomination, in The Incredible Hulk and on the television series Lie to Me.
Early Life
Film Career
Roth's career started in British television and small character roles in British independent films. He began to garner national attention in the Robert Altman film Vincent & Theo where he portrayed Vincent Van Gogh and then the Tom Stoppard film Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead.
His breakthrough role would however come in the popular film Reservoir Dogs directed by Quentin Tarantino. His performance in Pulp Fiction would cement his status as one of the most versatile and talented character actors in the business. He would be nominated for best supporting actor for his work in the Liam Neeson star vehicle Rob Roy. In 2007, he was the star of the Francis Ford Coppola film Youth Without Youth and in 2008 he appears as the nemesis of the title character in the film The Incredible Hulk.
