NFL was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the 2000 NFL Draft. He was the backup to starter Jeff Garcia until Garcia was released. In 2005, Rattay joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played in just four total games from 2005 to 2006. Rattay then signed with Arizona Cardinals in 2007 to backup Kurt Warner. Rattay is currently a free agent.
