It was rumored in mid December 2008 that Tim McGraw is planning to run for governor of Tennessee in 2010. TMZ.com reported on December 16, 2008, that the rumors are not true. Curb Records signed Tim McGraw and released his debut album in 1992. The self-titled debut album, Tim McGraw, was not a chart breaking album. The following year, McGraw released Not a moment to Soon which contained the hit single, "Indian Outlaw."
