  • Tim Hortons is a Canadian coffee and donut shop that was named for its founder, hockey player Tim Horton. Two of the original doughnut choices were the Apple Fritter and the Dutchie. Tim Hortons continues to hold a huge percentage of fast foot market share in Canada, with twice as many outlets as McDonald's. With its expansion, it replaced virtually all independent Canadian doughnut shops.
