Brief Biography
The son of a Royal Navy chaplain, Curry began appearing in television in 1968, but after his legendary role as Dr. Frank-N-Furter, he began to feel as if the role overshadowed his future work. Since the 1980s, Curry has appeared in several blockbuster films, often in over-the-top roles. In 1985, he played the devilish Lord of Darkness in the Tom Cruise and Mia Sara fantasy film Legend, and in 1996, played the nefarious Simon Doonan in James Cameron's Titanic. Curry's voice is almost as much in demand as his acting talents: he has released four albums, and is a sought-after voiceover artist for cartoons and commercials.
